Has anyone actually used multicurrency business accounts from smaller fintech platforms?

Thinking about switching from a traditional bank for cross-border transfers. Curious whether these newer platforms are actually reliable for EUR, GBP and USD accounts or if the limitations outweigh the convenience. Anyone with real experience?

I have been watching this space for a while now and recently looked more closely at a few platforms that offer IBAN-based accounts with SEPA and SWIFT support. One that came up in my research was a UK-registered service for both personal and business use. From what I gathered the account opening process takes up to 48 hours once documents are submitted which is actually faster than most traditional banks I dealt with. They mention unlimited accounts per user each with its own IBAN which sounds useful for separating different payment flows. At some point I checked their structure more carefully and found the create business account online option described in decent technical detail. The currency exchange fee sits at 0.3% which is on the lower end compared to what I usually see from mainstream providers. They support EUR, GBP and USD and the payouts go directly to IBAN and cards. The dashboard for transaction control seems functional though I have not tested it personally. The account is open to UK individuals and registered legal entities with standard KYC document requirements. Shell banks and unregistered charities are explicitly excluded which at least suggests some compliance thinking behind the structure. Nothing in what I found looked obviously inflated or misleading but I would still recommend verifying any fee structure independently before committing any real volume through a newer platform.
